Our Corps Commandant

Lt. Col. Joseph Ronda

A Message From Our Corps' Commandant

Welcome to the Commandant's page. This page, as with all other pages is dedicated to cadeting. Since it's founding and inception back in 1954, The Star Of The Sea - Sea Cadet Corps has always strived to be the best it can possibly be.

Devoted to youth, our Corps prides itself on being one of the best youth programs in New York State, if not the country.

I'm sure as you read on, you will find many items and areas of interest to you, or someone you might know. Our Corps is a self sufficient unit. We receive no funding from any government agency, nor do we receive any money from politicians. All funding is raised by the members themselves through various ventures such as marching parades, Military Balls and Dinner Dances, and from time to time, private donations from local retail establishments & businessmen.

All of our adult leaders are volunteers and receive no monetary compensation. We don't do this because we have to do this, but because we choose to do this for the youth of our communities.

I sincerely hope you enjoy the pages that follow. Please feel free to drop me a line if you have any question, comments, or suggestions.

                                                Respectfully,

                                                Joseph Ronda

                                                CORPS COMMANDANT
                                                Star Of The Sea
                                                Sea Cadet Corps, Inc.
